Nan Shepherd
In recent months much attention has been given to the work of Nan Shepherd and in particular to The Living Mountain, the alternative philosophies of hill walking presented in it and the ways in which they are of relevance to our current relationships with the environment. This talk will consider Shepherd's meditations on walking and will also discuss their impact upon her fiction and poems.
