The Lynx is increasingly being discussed as a candidate for reintroduction in Scotland. However, what do we know about this animal? What does it eat? How does it hunt, and what impacts do its presence have on us and our livelihoods? Using examples and scientific research from across Europe, richly illustrated with the photography of Laurent Geslin, Dr David Hetherington explores what it's like to share the countryside with Europe's most secretive large carnivore.
