The Government has still to publish its proposed actions, despite the Working Group’s report being published over a year ago. It might claim to have been diverted by the Covid crisis, but if we really are to enjoy a “just green recovery”, biodiversity is an agreed cornerstone. Proper deer management would be a small step in the right direction.
