NEMT is an umbrella body representing the environmental interests of Mountaineers and Hill-walkers. By being part of NEMT you can:

• Find out about up-to-date national, political and local land management issues
• Take part in informed debate and consultation on mountain and wild land issues
• Bring new issues to NEMT's attention and become involved in doing something about them
• Find out why things are as they are and work to reshape the future
• Enjoy our WINTER LECTURES
• Enjoy and contribute to our Magazine MOUNTAIN VIEWS
• Ensure our points of view are not over looked

We provide the following types of Membership:

Individual Members

For a subscription of £12 Individual Members will receive our regular newsletter and a reduced admission to our Winter Lectures. See also the "Join NEMT today" page.
Up to ten individual members can be appointed as members of the NEMT General Council and charity trustees

Organisational Members

NEMT welcomes Mountaineering and Hill-walking Clubs to join at a subscription based on their size. Club Secretaries will receive copies of Mountain Views and the Annual Report.

Other organsations which support our aims are invited to become affiliated members. Our web site lists Organisational Members.

All organisational members can appoint a representative to attend the NEMT Council as a charity trustee.
