On 27th June, the CNPA published the draft copy of its 5 yearly strategy document. This time it is called the Partnership Plan, in recognition of the fact that many of the objectives can only be delivered via partnerships with other agencies, with landowners and with users. The consultation closes on 30th Sept and our reply is currently in preparation. We will print the full text in the next issue of Mountain Views.
Wisely, instead of trying to cover everything, the CNPA has decided to concentrate on 9 so-called Big Issues. These are listed below.
There are no surprises here and most of us would agree these are the important issues.
